THE GOOD NEWS
There is certainly going to be some experience back, with only two seniors departing. The Phoenix will have their same defensive intensity, plus a good dose of confidence in how good they can be after the run to the final of the Southern Conference tournament. Players like Brett James and Ola Atoyebi will be able to step into major leadership roles as seniors.

THE BAD NEWS
Although the team will have the conference tournament run to remember, there's still the matter of having one of the worst offenses in the league. Elon must get better as a team running the offense and getting easy baskets.

KEY RETURNEES
Top scorers Brett James and Ola Atoyebi will be back for their senior campaigns, as will other solid contributors Chris Long, Adam Constantine and TJ Douglas. The team will look to James and Atoyebi even more in their final years with the squad.

ROSTER REPORT

--G Brett James was selected to the Southern Conference's all-conference first team by the league's coaches.

--Atoyebi finished fourth in the league in field-goal percentage, hitting 57.3 percent of his shots from the field.

--G Montell Watson was one of only eight players in the league to average at least 3.0 assists per game, and his 1.23 assist-to-turnover ratio ranked seventh in the Southern Conference.
