THE GOOD NEWS
They've developed a great home-court advantage under the dome at Memorial Center. The Buccaneers are 26-4 there over the past two years including the postseason -- 26-1 against all visitors not named Belmont. Their 39-15 conference record since joining the Atlantic Sun is better than everybody except the Bruins (43-11).

THE BAD NEWS
The Buccaneers lose a lot of their swagger and three of the team's toughest players to graduation in forwards Kenyona Swader and Andrew Reed and guard Travis Strong, who averaged a combined 28.9 points and 14.2 rebounds per game. ETSU shot 33 percent behind the arc during league play, which ranked eighth in the A-Sun and doesn't bode well for next season's longer 3-point shots.

KEY RETURNEES
After posting back-to-back seasons with at least 500 points, 100 rebounds and 100 assists, Courtney Pigram returns for his final season along with rising seniors Kevin Tiggs (14.6 points, 5.5 boards) and Jocolby Davis (4.5 points, 3.0 assists). Sophomore guard Mike Smith scored in double figures 10 times.

ROSTER REPORT

--Although his numbers dipped from his Player of the Year season in 2006-07, junior guard Courtney Pigram did more than enough to earn his second straight All-Atlantic Sun first-team selection. He led the Buccaneers in scoring and assists, recorded eight 20-point outings and had eight games with four or more 3-pointers.

--Junior forward Kevin Tiggs validated the hype surrounding him as the 2007 national JUCO Division II Player of the Year, earning a spot on the All-Atlantic Sun second team. The two-time Player of the Week was third in the league in offensive rebounding, fourth in field-goal percentage and sixth in free-throw shooting.
