THE GOOD NEWS
The coaches are confident that junior Delvin Franklin and transfer Reed Baker (Michigan) can knock down the longer threes (20 feet, 9 inches) next year. Other newcomers increase the team's overall athleticism and speed, including 6-7 junior transfer Kyle Marks (Nebraska) and a pair of redshirt freshman forwards in 6-6 Ed Rolax and 6-7 Justin Stokes.

THE BAD NEWS
The Eagles lose seven seniors, including 1,000-point scorer Casey Wohlleb, school-record rebounder Adam Liddell and point guard Rob Quaintance. Even if the newcomers can make an immediate impact, the team still won't be eligible for the Atlantic Sun tournament until 2011-12.

KEY RETURNEES
Franklin is the only player coming back who averaged more than 10 minutes per game. The 6-2 shooting guard averaged 9.2 points and shot 36.0 percent from 3-point distance. He scored in double figures 12 times with three 20-point outings. Freshman guard Harris Gelin appeared in 23 games with two starts.

ROSTER REPORT

--Junior forward Landon Adler missed the last four games with a stress fracture in his right foot. Despite having to fight for playing time, he led the Eagles in rebounding (6.7) and was second in scoring (11.6) in 20.4 minutes per game. He had six double-doubles.

--Senior guard Rob Quaintance led the Atlantic Sun in assists (5.6 per game) and was second in steals (2.5 per game), seventh in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.38) and tied for 11th in 3-point accuracy (38.0 percent).
