FINAL RECORD
11-19, 6-10, tied for eighth in Atlantic Sun.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
The 96-81 win at then-No. 18 USC on Nov. 10 was Mercer's first against a ranked opponent since a 75-72 victory against No. 19 Arkansas-Little Rock on Feb. 23, 1989. The Bears also broke the school single-season record for blocked shots (165) and led the Atlantic Sun with 41.0 rebounds per game.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Senior forward Sam Dolan was limited by a back injury most of the season and sophomore guard Michael Ellis missed 12 games with a hernia, but one of the biggest pains was top scorer James Florence's shooting percentage. He was second in the league at 19 points per game, but shot 35.3 percent from the field and 27.7 percent from 3-point range.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"I feel a little weird. It'll be strange the next week or two. I don't know how to express how I feel." -- Former Mercer head coach Mark Slonaker, who was let go after 11 seasons, to the Macon Telegraph.
