Wildcats report: Getting inside
New Hampshire won just nine games, but the Wildcats might have been one of the most enjoyable draws in the conference. Coach Bill Herrion's Wildcats launched 3-pointers from everywhere, and under every circumstance. New Hampshire finished the season ranked in the top 10 in the nation in 3-pointers made. Unfortunately, the Wildcats struggled on the defensive end and ended up lumbering to a 9-20 mark, including a heartbreaking 68-65 loss to Hartford in the conference tournament. New Hampshire can go into the offseason with some confidence, after upsetting conference power Vermont in the final game of the regular season. The Wildcats also posted a win over Albany, which had won the last two conference titles. Copyright (C) 2008 The Sports Xchange. All Rights Reserved. | ||||||||||||
