Could A Non-BCS Team Ever Get Left Out?

I've been thinking since Hawaii drew a lot of criticism for getting blown out by Georgia. Do you think that in the future, not this year or even the next, but sometime if a Non-BCS team went unbeaten and had a really weak schedule would they get left out of the BCS picture? Sorensen vs. Payne

Just wondering from you guys what you thought of the kickers for your team this year?

Does the new guy Sorensen have a chance to take the job away from Payne? Payne's a pretty good kicker, but having watched Sorensen the last three years in high school and knowing him, this is everything he has lived for!
