Syracuse's chances getting slimmer and slimmer

Posted on: February 25, 2008 8:11 pm

After two straight losses that we very well could of won, Syracuse's chances of making the tourny are looking pretty dark. Although Joe Lunardi has us as one of the "last four out" on his latest bracketology, some of our players have not been playing with the heart and level of intensity that is expected of them. *cough* Greene *cough* We have a tough end of the year schedule. But IMO with 2 regular season wins and 1 BE tourny win, we are in.

Syracuse's chances getting slimmer and slimmer

The worst part about all this is that I still think Green is gonna go pro -- and we won't get the benefit of having a great fully-loaded squad next year.

I think finishing up the season 3-0 is a stretch.  I think we can win 2 of the last 3, and win one or two in the tourny.  If so, I agree that we have a good chance of getting to the dance.

I wouldn't sweat Greene leaving. There was a time where he was a projected lotto pick, but I think this season for the Cuse has exposed him for what he is--too raw. None of the mocks even have him listed lately.

Either way, if for some reason he did go- another reason I hate the NBA...

I hope Greene leaves, he is worthless and doesn't play defense or work hard.

if greene left, the team would be much more cohesive, so unless he wants to change his game style for next year, good luck in the NBA donte
