Biron's got the start tonight for the Islanders, who are a little bit beat up. I don't know, I don't have much to say right now about the game, other than the Flyers should win. I guess it all comes down to DiPietro. Can he hold down the fort for the Islanders?
I'm looking to the Downie/Richards/Hartnell line to have a big game tonight. I think there will be a scrap or two tonight as well. Downie's proven to be a very solid NHLer so far, as Stevens has played him in the last few minutes of games where they had one goal leads. That's so much different from his first call up, when he would only get around 5 minutes of ice time.
More to come after the game, as I'll probably lock myself in the basement tonight because my sister's having 13 of her friends over after some dance at her high school.

Flyers taking on the Islanders tonightThe Flyers need this game if for nothing more than to put a nice winning streak together. They have to start knocking off their division rivals. Richards/Hartnell are having big years for the FlyBoys. They have to tighten up on D. They can't leave their goalies out to get hung ( like Nitty last year.) |
