The Flyers get owned by the Devils

Posted on: January 23, 2008 11:36 pm

This is what happened in the game against the Devils last night.

But what's so frustrating is that they started off getting the first goal, and then recapturing the lead after the Devils scored a powerplay goal.  Then after the first period, everything just went bad.  It was an awful game to watch.  At least Steve Downie put some comic relief in there with his fight.  That was great.  And no, he did not scratch Clarkson nor did he try to eye gouge him.

Crap, its 11:34 already and I'm not done reading for school yet.
Alright, tomorrow's a huge game against the Penguins.  Sid's obviously not playing, but I still really hope that they have one of those Flyers/Penguins wars we're so used to seeing.  Hopefully the Flyers did some work on the penalty kill today.  I'm not sure who Stevens is going to be starting in net for the game, but I have a feeling it will be Biron.  I guess we'll find out sometime tomorrow.

Here's to no one actually reading this blog (and that's completely fine with me).

The first period of the Flyboy's rocked.  The Flyer's penalty kill looked, well...not great.

They'll bounce back, they've played the pens well this year and no Cosby, I mean Crosby.

The Flyers get owned by the Devils

Plenty of game left, I'm really looking forward to tonights game, even though they'll be without Sid the baby.  I think we can and will win, and hopefully it's as physical as the last game, and as many of the Flyers games always are.  Cote 2 nice showings in a row with some of the leagues heavyweights, hopefully he'll go against who many consider the champ in Georges Laraque.  After the last game and the Laraque Biron incident, he'll be looked for.  I love hockey.

The Flyers get owned by the Devils

I like the Flyers. They used to be my favorite team until I fell in love with the blue Jackets. I don't watch many Flyer games but how are they doing this season?

About Flyers Season Blog
Okay, first of all, I hope this doesn't come out to be called "Flyers Season Blog Blog." But who cares about that... Alright, I'm going to test this blog out. I've never blogged before, but I imagine that it doesn't take a genius to do it, but I doubt that Rangers fans will ever get the hang out it. So basically, I'm going to write here about the Flyers throughout the rest of the season, kind of like what they do on hockeybuzz.com, but the only difference is that no one's going to read this one.
