Sky - Just wanted to compliment you guys for making an effort to make things better.  With this site, I now believe that's completely impossible because they want to manipulate too much, and can't let go.  They have to determine how the "hierarchy" of posters exists.  BTW, the reason you guys were returned to SS status immediately when you started posting again, was you were there when you stopped posting.  If I were to stop posting, first of all I would dive to amateur in a week, then upon returning, maybe make it up to pro.

I agree, I hate the tiny avatars, I dont like the stars and how they're in the top corner I dont like how they dont have spell check, and I can't figure out how im supposed to get my ranking up because Ive been at like 88/89 for like a month, and I got to 90 when I wasn't posting but now im back to 89.

Sky my only problem is still the adjusted ratings. I, like many people, gave a 10 for things I liked and didn't rate those I disliked, just ignored. But, if you don't rate negative things now your good rating is cut in half, to me this gives power to the trolls, cause as many zero's as they give. it actually rates their 10 as an adjusted  9, 8, or 7 as opposed to our adjusted 5.

This is really a little off-topic, but when you post comments on the two cbs threads that solicit such feedback, you can have you entry completely removed and zeroed.  If you don't like Dodd or Freeman (yikes!) and express problems if you're being bothered, you can count on all your posts being rated poorly.  Thank heaven above, my trolling seems to have temporarily ceased and I am thankful.  However in no way have the "trolls" reputation has been injured, only mine.  They would walk over coals before they would rate my posts judicially.  They're prejudiced in every facet imaginable, and this does ultimately involve the "CBS rating system".  We all know that until they take their sticky manipulative fingers out of adjusted ratings cookie dough ( or as the show Psychic advertises: "all the dos: tae kwan, cookie, dosey" etc.

Ha! Ha!  such a joke - but then our hosts are completely lacking therein - in addition to administrative skills!!  Stick it CBS!!!!  Sorry to other posters, but these guys are less adept than the Three Stooges.  Truly.  I have never seen less sense in any web site implementation that this.  Please ban me.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh an 89!!!  I'm just thrilled at the evidence of partiality of this joint.  Sky, do you mind if I get myself banned here?  Want me to do it elsewhere?  Maybe sad-Sadovin country since he's positioned for none of his "dark side" members to rate me positively since Mar. '07???  Still going on.  Excuse the rant, sick of the overall manipulation of these boards, and its biased trappings.  Adios.

I hear ya man. Its like the powers that be try to destroy their own site. I try to just accept the site for what it really is, and hang around for the good friends here; like yourself. 

I posted this before, but I think its time to play it again...

 I left in Aug. 2007 at Top 1K. I came back 2 months later and within 3 days I was a almighty Top 10!   ???

Since posting reguarly and winning my fantasy football league, I have dropped back through Top 100, and now I'm Top 1K again.

Heres the real trump: I put CBS Top 10 on a loan application and the bank said my CBS rep was worthless! Can you imagine?????? Something about the real world...

The rating / reputation system is a marketing tool yall. They know sports fans are in general competitive people. They will compete for a higher ranking and spend more time on the site to achieve the high rank. More time spent on site = more $ CBS can charge for ads.

Hey Sky - Putting things into perspective for me?  How dare you!!  lol... I want to talk to Andy Rooney!!  Never a favorite, but I read an article by him recently and it made sense!  It actually seemed objective - but then I was still under the miasma of these boards.
