Waste your breath here.

I really enjoy engaging in banter, chitchat, persiflage, etc. My favorite format involves humor, whatever that is. All I know about humor is that it makes me chuckle, laugh, smile, project liquids out my nostrils, etc. Often, humor involves mocking. Second, I like to swap opinions, debate, argue, and like that. This is utterly futile, yet provides an interesting diversion, sort of like game playing. Third would probably be declaiming: I feel pretty good having gotten it off my chest. My least favorite is gossiping, even though anthropologists have learned that a considerable plurality of all human discussion is mere gossip.

With this in mind, I offer you the opportunity to initiate any form of banter here on this blog entry, if there is no one around, and you fear to be observed talking to yourself. I can't guarantee you that you receive any reply or feedback, but you might.

I will start off by declaiming that I am good and sick to death of the electioneering. By now, I despise all of the candidates and their spouses. I hate both of the established political parties, Republicans more than Democrats. I hate independents for their indecisiveness. Most of all, I hate libertarians. Someday, I hope I come within striking distance of a libertarian mouthing off. I hate the party functionaries, the undecideds, the activists and the apathetics. I hate the reporters, and the talking heads on television. I hate focus groups. I hope I am making this clear.

Sorry to disappoint momluvs.  I tried to start the fantasy blog entry, but I cannot physically get close enough to the keyboard to type, or the monitor to see, once I start fantasizing.  Either my arms are too short, or my...

JD, I completely agree with you on the political campaign lasting so long.  I'm sick of Hilary, Obama, to a lesser extent McCain (not as much airplay in Canada).  The canadian process in my opinion is great because of how the campaigns only last about a month and a half. (and we have fewer annoying attack ads) While in the US, everyone has to go through the all the primaries and then you go to the election. Seems mighty foolish in my opinion

That's okay JD, I completely understand.  At least your fantasies don't take bad turns like mine do.
