What a surprise, what a run. The Georgia Bulldogs have accomplished something amazing in the 2008 SEC Tournament. First round knocking off Ole Miss with a buzzer beater in OT, and then expecting to play at 9:45 on Friday night when a tornado hits the Georgia Dome. Then not playing when they thought they were. Having to regroup to play Kentucky the following morning, and upsetting them in OT. Then having to play against the top ranked team in the west, Mississippi State and upsetting them and making it to the SEC tournament championship. Incredible. Overcoming all the doubts. Congratulations Georgia I'll be routing for you tomorrow against Arkansas!

Underdawgs!First half and they look great! What a run these kids have had. Very impressive. The only question I have is how does a Georgia win today impact the invites for the SEC? I'm guessing we get 4 - UT, Vandy and 2 out of Kentucky, Miss St, Arkansas. Does a Georgia win make it 5 or knock one of the above out? Will be interesting to see how the committee responds if Georgia wins the SEC tourney. |
