I say I'll try to post more often on here, and what do I do? I go 6 days without an entry. Well, what's happened lately? Schafer got busted for HGH, the Braves are this close to being swept by the Rockies, and Rafael Soriano went on the DL. Good week, huh? I've been going back and forth with some people on here, not really about Schafer, but about HGH in general. There is a very good chance that HGH doesn't work, and while that makes Schafer even more of an idiot, it also means his talent is most likely genuine. While the Braves haven't had many players that are supected of juicing on their roster, one incident is not enough to condem Schafer to a career of trying to shake off a HGH induced shadow. As long as he handles this well, and is 100% clean, he can still be a star. The Braves' play vs the Rockies has been horrible. If we could play the outfield, we would've at least won a game out of the 3 we've played. Soriano is down with elbow tendinitis. This makes a already average 'pen a HUGE issue. We'll see if Moylan, Acosta, and Boyer are up to the task that confronts them.

Wow

Hah, Boyer isn't up for anything but giving up game winners.

But I do agree, if Schafer does it all right and stays clean, he can still bounce back and have a successful career. I certainly hope he can do it.

And YES... pick up the play Braves!

C'mon, did you have to bring that up? Didn't I already indicate that I think judging Boyer based off of 2 bad pitches is totally absurd? Whatever. I still the Schafer will be a terrific ballplayer.

Wow

Haha, well I know it twerps you, so I persist  But for real, we've been hearing about him forever. I just want some consistancy from him... actually from everyone. At least we aren't the Tigers though.

Wow

At least we aren't the Tigers though.

Got that right.

Boyer had some arm trouble last year, but I still think he has real promise. If he gains more control on his fast ball, he can be a closer within a year or two.

About 14's Blog about Sports that don't suck.
The title says it all. I like the NFL and the MLB. Pretty much everything else sucks. I don't follow college sports. This blog will focus on the Braves in the MLB and the Titans in the NFL. But mainly the Braves. I will also throw in other MLB comments(mainly complaints). Enjoy.
