The Results Are In

First I want to thank all of you who participated in the voting and or nomination process. I have really enjoyed the comments and reasoning given for the way your ballots were cast. Some went with their favorites, some based on musical talent, a few on the influence the acts might have had on others and some used a combination of factors.

In the Band category I don't think anyone will be surprised by the fact The Beatles won by a 2 to 1 margin over Pink Floyd (32/16).

The solo category was closer but once the number 1 seed Eric Clapton was the victor over The Boss.(27/21). That match up was between 2 of my 3 favorite solo acts, alas my other choice, Van Morrison, didn't even make it into the first round.

I am trying to decide what competition, if any, I should do next. Please feel to suggest any that would be of interest to you.
