peter zezel was an ex flyer in the late 80s'. wore #25. played in toronto too. i read about 5 yrs ago he had some really serious illness that may be life threatening. don't know if he lived through it.

he was also the assistant captain for the hamilton mustangs in the fictional rob lowe movie "youngblood."

you know where 150 pound rob lowe scores a goal to tie it with 10 seconds left in the game and a penalty shot with  2 seconds left to win the game. then he fights good carl racki and beats him up. yeah! that youngblood !!!

I was reffering to the nhlgirl part, but thanks for the Peter Zezel flashback. I forgot all about Youngblood! I'll have to Netflix it. Probably one of those movies that doesn't stand the test of time well unfortunately.

Speaking of Netflix, I watched an odd one last night. Anyone seen "Lars and the Real Girl"? Maybe you have, Catfish. I know you're a big movie buff.

I watched Lars and the Real Girl a couple weekends ago with my wife.  That was certainly a strange one to watch.  Bianca reminds me of my sister-in-law.

that premise is so bad and unbelievable, i will never see it. how do you go from being a oscar nominee to that ? terrible.
