Ugh, last night was not a good game.  We lost to Ridley 4-3, but had many opportunities to win.  Last night might have been my worst offensive performance ever.  I went 0-4 with 4 K's, including striking out with men on second and third for the final out of the game.  I left two men in scoring position earlier in the game too.  Oh well, I recovered from it and am ready to get right back in the box.

Not your fault, Tark  ... you should have been pinch hit for!!!  Who's managing this team?!  Haha  Just Kidding

tark that was your first step to becoming the next ryan howard lol. At least you are not mentally scarred and can nevr play baseball again. SO how many "golden sombrero's" have you had? lol
I cant wait to see Melrose get fired half way thru the season lol. He was "trying" to be "funny" at his press conference by saying that he can only do better because the Lightning finished last so he can only improve and his exact words were " Now you guys can say, hey Melrose did a hell of a job" So what if Tampa finishes last again?= Tavares

Evan Longoria is amazing i got to see him a couple of times at the Rogers Center when the Jays played the Rays. He is the Crosby of baseball, except the diving. THANKS guys i used to like Crosby (AS A PLAYER) but thanks to all the philly fans commenting about his diving you got me on to it LMAO

But I believe that that was my first golden sombrero.  And I will make sure it was my last.  Not something I want to make a habit of.  haha

It's time for the new beer avatar of the week! I know you are all just as excited as I . St Bernardus is incredible stuff, especially the Abt 12 Quadrupel.

This gem gets to stay up for two weeks as my girl and I are leaving for Texas (boooooo!) tomorrow morning to see the Phils (Woohoo!) play the Rangers for a few days. Then from there we fly to Atlanta to catch them play the Braves (also boooooo) before coming home and hittin' up the Phils/Mets (ultra booooooo!) series at home. That's a lot of baseball in a short span.

With my luck, the Phils woes may very well continue over the next week and a half or so. Sorry in advance to the Philly Phightin' Phaithful.

Let's go Phils!

Since there are many Phillies on this thread - please tell me you saw or read about shawn chacon grabbing ed wade by the neck and throwing him down to the ground nad beating on him after wade yelled at him and used profanity.

wade told chacon to see him and cecil cooper in his office. sc said no, jus tell him there at dinner. wade said no and used porfanity and started yelling at him to go to the office immediatey. chacon then went after him.

i wish one of the phillies did this 6 yrs ago. wade is lucky is was chacon and not a philly fan!!
