My rankings:

1. UCLA 2. Wash St. 3. Stanford 4. Arizona 5. Oregon 6. USC 7. Cal 8. Washington, 9. ASU 10. Oregon St.

Something tells me there will be some different opinions on this one.

Actually I think you're right on jmred.  I'm glad you're giving Stanford their much deserved credit, and you're putting USC down where they belong.  It's ridiculous that Stanford is not ranked over USC in the AP poll, given the fact they only have one loss to Siena, and have buried their opponents in almost all their other games.  Stanford is one of the best rebounding teams in the nation, and their shooters are getting better and better, especially Mitch Johnson, who needs to have a good season at point guard.  It should come down to WSU, UCLA, and Stanford fighting for the top spot in the conference, as I think Oregon and Arizona aren't going to be as strong this year.  Cal is having a nice little rum, but should revert to their true form and choke come conference play.  Now I know I am a Stanford fan, so this may seem biased, but I do think is a far improved team, as well as a far more consistent team.  It will be fun to see them go up against UCLA and WSU, and I hope they finish in the top three come tournament time.

My rankings are slightly different:

1. UCLA 2. Wash St. 3. Stanford 3. Arizona 5. ASU 6. Oregon 7. USC 8. CAL 9. Washington 10. Oregon St.

Just my humble opinion. You have to admire ASU's solid start. Arizona is always a solid competitor. I am a die-hard Stanford fan, and nothing makes me happier than to see them playing the way they are right now. We'll just have to wait and see what happens this season.

Well, midway through the season and the rankings are starting to take shape.  Love the #9 national ranking for the Cardinal.  As a season ticket holder, I am thrilled with the first have of the Pac 10 season.  Looking forward to a solid weekend against the Oregon schools at home.

Looks like it might come down to the final weekend in So Cal.
