I have seen Rush 23 times 6 on this tour and they are incredible. Glad you got to see them they have one of the tightest shows of any band I've seen and thats alot of bands.

Wow fan not into prog rock your missing out on some amazing bands. Rush, King Crimson, Porcupine tree, Tool, Yes, early Genesis, ELP, Fates Warning and the list goes on and on. Thats the thing about music though it has something for everyone. Me I enjoy just about all music.

Progressive Rock that song.

Sad No demerit Rush is absolutly a Progressive band regardless of where they fall all time in popularity. If you go by record sales they arent even in the top ten. That being said they are my all time favorite band but that doesnt change the fact that with the odd and multi time meters they definetly fit in the Progressive Genre another point of verification on this matter is the fact that 98 percent of their fans are Male.
