If you buy the authentic jersey, then you can easily remove the numbers and name if the player is traded or is a bust. The jersey stays. Stop buying the painted on numbers that end up fading away after a few washes anyways. I'd rather pony up the $200 for a jersey that will last years and years versus paying $85 for a jersey and player that may not even be there after Week 2 (i.e. Charlie Frye).

JohnnySeoul... your post makes absolutely ZERO sense.  You say that you can remove the numbers and name from an authentic jersey if the player is traded/bust.  Why would you ever bother removing the name and number??  You would end up having a blank jersey! You never know for sure if a player is going to be a bust in the NFL (for example he could have a career ending injury) and you are stuck with a $200 jersey of a guy that doesnt play anymore. Seems like buying a $75 jersey makes more sense because those are much less expensive to replace
