I recently saw Cretin play...I wanted to see Floyd, Nance and Henderson. Floyd is a gifted athlete, Nance played well, Henderson is an absolute beast. I can see why every college football coach has their eyes on this kid.
Anyway, this got me thinking that I should hit some more local high school games. It's a cheap ticket, good atmosphere, and fun to see the kids play. Who, if anyone, are you all paying attention to this year?

Most definitely Royce White from DeLasalle and Rodney Willams from Cooper - hands down the studs of the 2009 class. They both need to be wearing maroon and gold!!!

I'd take a trip to a Hopkins game, too. They are always good and fun to watch, even though I hate them.

I really hate Eastview, they suck ass, lol. Go Eagan. JK Joe, we are not exactly a basketball powerhouse but watch out for Eagan football the next 2 years (don't laugh). We will improve significantly and will crush Eastview, man I can't stand them.

Eagan football? If there is one game you don't want to go to, it is an Eagan football game. If you have a chance got to an Eastview-Apple Valley game. Any sport. It is a huge rivalry. I'd say there is at least one fight everytime they play.

Joe Mauer Jr knows his stuff. I went to eastview and those games got really heated. I would also say that eagan pretty much sucks at football and im guessing the eagan fan would be in highschool and is thinking way too highly of his friends that play football and maybe even himself.

I played against Floyd in the Gusmacher and he is a man-child. The most exciting player in Minnesota tho is my boy Rodney Williams Jr.. In the section semi final he caught an alley oop from half court and reverse dunked that shhii.. Absolutely amazing!

The thing about Rodney is that he might not even qualify for college, so he might have to go JuCo.

That might be even better for him. He could gain some experience and get bigger and still have 4 years to play d-1. And didn't Royce get kicked out of school?

I don't know about Royce, but if you play a year of JuCo, it counts as a division 1 year, also.

Rodney needs to get a lot stronger and be a lot tougher and smarter if he plans on playing at the next level. He got t'ed up twice and I think he could have got t'ed up once more if the refs would have seen it. It was all because he was getting frustrated. He can't do that at the next level.
