Oh man, i think we all miss the stick. I love Pac Bell , but It would be cool to see them play a few games at the stick.

Remeber the chain link fence? The metal bleachers that woudl make a lot of noise . Or that area behind Left Filed in the 80's where you could jump down and retrive a HR. Candlestick will always have a special place in this Giants fans heart. Its the first place a young 5 year old kid was taken to see his first baseball game(that he can remember) and fell in love with his Giants.

I would put bonds in left field and vizquel at shortstop. I don't know about the other positions cuz I don't really know about Giants history. but I'm sure no other current player would make the team.

Burks was never as important to the team as Jack was.  Plus, Burks was slightly over-rated defensively.  I saw him make alot of mistakes handling the ball in the outfield.

Everytime I see the name Candy Maldonaldo I think of him sliding for a ball he had no chance at in 87 against the cards in game 7 and the ball rolling by him to the wall.  That almost hurts more than 2002 but not quite!

You and me both, now my head hurts just thinking about it.

Candy A$$ Maldonado still kills me too.

But above all Dusty Baker is my most hated..........once a dudger always a dudger.  Ditto for Kent the punk.

Will the thrill was my boy when he played.

Robbie Thompson was one of my favorities

Jeff Leonard and the one flap down.

Mitchell and his gold tooth.

Matt Williams who should have broke 62 in the strike year.

Dravecki and Hammaker.

These were my favorities

For lefty in the rotation i would go with Rueter as of now. Lowry can be too inconsistent. Rueter was fine, but give Lowry a little longer and he will be up there. For closer Nenn. He was sick, that splitter of his. Double play machine.

You've got to be kidding. You call yourself a Giants fan and you hate Will Clark. He is a true ball player. He wasn't amped up on roids like Bonds, Canseco, McGuire, etc. He was a pure hitter. I still haven't seen a swing so fluid as his. Just go back to the NLCS in 1989 and see how clutch he really was.

And to pick JT Snow. Yeah I love JT, but he wasn't nearly the offensive threat as Clark and Clark was pretty good defensively too. Maybe not as good as JT in that area, but I would take his bat anyday.

I prefer the Giants pre Barry Bonds.  Clark was a stud. How could you not be to hit a HR in your first major league at bat against the great Nolan Ryan.

He is my alltime favorite Giant and I followed him after the Bonds show showed up and he was released all the way until his retirement.

Yeah Clark was my favorite as a kid growing up too. I still followed his career as a Ranger and cardinal. Man what a sweet swing. He made this young kid try to mimick that swing, to no avail of course because Im a rightie(and I never had that talent) , but taht swing was a buety. And who could forget how clutch he was. I remember a game against the Reds, he was like 0-4 , came up in the ninth, down 3-2 stared down the picther with that "The thrill look" behind the eye black and smacked a two run shot over  the CF wall. For me its always going to be Clark and Bonds. Too bad they only got to play one season together, Clark still had alot left when  we let him go.

Oh more on Clark. I remember someone once asked Barry Bonds who was the best player he ever played with. Bonds said Clark.
