Fight! Texas! Beat the Wildcats!

Good luck to the Texas Longhorns as they solidify their new CBS.com ranking of number 5. I know it wont be easy, but Texas has the necessary team play to beat the likes of Tennesse and UCLA, not in Texas but in a neutral and away game, respectively.

Hook 'Em!!!  I'm with you NJ, It should be a good game.  I'm sure Beasley will be doing everything he can to get 50, but if his supporting cast doesn't show up like they didn't against Baylor, Texas should be able to beat the Wildcats pretty good (Lord knows I'm sick of losing to KState in other endeavors!)

I am not a K-state fan.  I just hate the Longhorns.  They must have the worst programs ever in the history of sports!

Anyway - back to this post on the Longhorn board for Texas fans...

That was a great victory for the Horns. K-State hasn't lost at home in a long time, so a road win in Manhattan, KS is a big accomplishment. It may not have been the prettiest game, but Texas was dominant throughout, and led for almost the entire game. The defense made the real difference with 4 blocks and 5 steals.

If I were to criticize, it would be the free throws. Texas was 10 for 23. Leaving 13 points on the floor will kill you in a tight game, but it didn't matter tonight. I suppose that home-court advantage plays a big part in free throws.

I wouldnt worry about this guy. Its probably just some dumb kid who thinks he is going to get into NE or NC when he goes to college but won't, because he isnt smart enough.

Texas season speaks for itself. Ranked number 5. Won 8 games in a row. Beat Tennessee, UCLA and Kansas. Texas does not suck.
