As a famous man once said:  "Move b--ch, get out the way.  Get out the way, b--ch, get out the way."  If Yao was in tonight, the Rockets would've won by 40.  Yo, Steven A. Smith, this one was for you.  If your basketball knowledge was half the size of your mouth you might actually know what you were talking about.

Stephen A Smith knowing what he is talking about?  That just isn't possible.  LOL

Great victory last night.  It doesn't seem to matter who we play; we take high percentage shots and play great D; that is going to win alot of ball games.

GO Rockets....

At least we let ya'll have one again this year.  Mavs 3 Rockets 1.  That's also still 10 of 12 for Dallas.

Rockets fans are setting themselves up for another dissapointing first round exit.  Very Female First Name-esque.

I don't think beating Dallas without Dirk constitutes a great victory by any team's standards.  I think Dirk is more valuable to the Mavs than Yao to the Rockets.

Raefer was on fire last night.  I like Skola a lot.

I'll tell yah, gdcasper187; if it was a close game or an overtime game; you may have a point with Dirk being gone.  But it was a blowout without one of our stars too.  So take it like a man.  Rockets stepped up when their man was out; Dallas flopped.

No one has sympathy for the Rockets without Yao; so don't expect me to worry about Dallas missing Dirk for one game.

Who asked for your sympathy doosh?

Not me.

Do you want sympathy doosh?

If this is the case, I offer you and the Rockets my most heartfelt congratulations on the 2nd win in the last 12 meetings and your 17th consecutive victory versus the other teams in the league including 1 over the Mavs.  I have felt sympathetic pleasure or joy in your victory.  Are you happy now?

Rockets Injuries ( out for the season ) and Unused Players Last Night on the Roster:  Yao Ming, Steve Francis, Gerald Green

Mavs Injury ( coming back ), Suspension ( coming back ) and Recent Free agent signings Unused Last Night on the Roster :  Eddie Jones, Dirk Nowitzki, Jamal Magloire and Tyrone Lue.

These are just facts.  I will let you interpret them.  You are the terrible thread host.

Bad thread or not, your post is completely irrelevant. Unused, injured it don't matter. Your coach is the bottom line your losing right now, he is managing the games very poorly. You do not lose three games in a row, 4 out of your last five. With Terry, Howard, Kidd and even if Dirk's sitting on a suspension.

I agree MVTEX.  Avery must go.  JVG is a great candidate as he is a defensive minded coach.

gdcasper187,

Not really sure what got your panties in a bunch dude, but isn't stating "you are the terrible thread host" a tad bit hypocritcal.

LOL

Some guys don't like their team getting the crap beat outta them.

That was simply an amzing win. To say it was not because Dirk was out and suspension is silly. The Rockets are without Yao! T-Mac really put on a show.

Like many I saw an early first round exit for the Rockets to say the Jazz like last year, but if T-Mac plays like this they are definately headed to the semis.

Gratz Rockets.

Dallas better pray Nowitski isn't injured or suspended come playoff time if they even make it.  They looked lost without him. Pretty sad to rely on one guy that much. I thought Jason Kidd was supposed to come help this team out. Looks like he's doing just the opposite.

Steven A. Smith is the biggest idiot on television.  Who decided NBA fans want to  listen to this loudmouth?

The Rockets are rolling and last night was a good win, even without Dirk in for the Mavs.  Not having Yao will really hurt them come playoff time though.

Good reply gdcasper187,

No one likes to see their team lose.  Especially at home with things as they are.  I truly think the Mavs will turn it around and be the 3rd seed.  So no frets.  They are better then they are playing.

As a Rocket fan, the Mavs are one of the teams I would not want to face.

I apologize for being so hard on you.  :-)

I keep hearing, the Rockets are without Yao.  Forget to mention, for the entire year.  Dirk is back tomorrow.  Rockets are playing inspired basketball right now so I'm not taking anything away from them.  But seriously, is T-Mac going to get out of the first round, without Yao? Hasn't happened... um.....ever!  Even with Yao.  Good luck to the Rockets and all those fans who wish The Dream had anything left and could suit up for a Championship run. Not gonna happen.

Somebody get gdcasper a tissue, please.  What does the season series have to do with the Rockets laying the pipe to the Mavericks last night?  Yeah, I was SO relieved that Jones, Lue and Magliore weren't playing.  Maybe if Jason Terry spent as much energy getting back on defense as he does complaining about no calls, the Mavs wouldn't be 4-6 in their last 10.  That guy should be wearing thigh-highs instead of knee-highs.  Until the Mavericks start playing defense, you're going to be dissapointed again and again and again............

Stephen A Smith ate his words about 2 games ago.  I for one was not surprised that people underestimated the Rockets.  I hope that the Rockets get lucky enough to play the Mavs in the first round, as they seem to be the weakest of all the playoff contenders,  except maybe the Hornets

To all the depressed Mavs fans, don't blame Avery.  I'm sure he didnt ask for Kidd and its not like you guys were gonna go far in the playoffs anyway.

Also, whoever said Van Gundy was better than Avery was either joking or smoking.  I think smoking, because he also thinks the Mavs will somehow make the 3 seed.
