McCain is just another Bush wanna be and this country has had plenty of that even with an undecided party they will squash McCain in November. Since when does it requier a real man to get thousands killed any moron can do that the current administration has done a great job of that. The Democrats just try to out think their opponents prior to enguaging in war, it is called stratagy Boobski.

SGT. yeah I plan to go to the range several times this spring , not a hunter though. Have 11 pistols ,2 shotguns ,1 AR15. So clinton can't even get credit where credit is do?

I have two pistols a 45 taurus which I regret buying but it was my first handgun. And a p228 sig 9mm that I am in love with. Will be buying more though as the finances allow it

Good evening. Been away for a day or two. Got caught up with what was posted, and I have my 2 cents.
First on the "gun control". I'm all for law abiding citizens to own whatever they want to. But I also agree with background checks, a waiting period, and even a psychological profile. If you are the kind of person that can't wait a week for a gun, you are the exact reason why everyone should have to wait. I don't think that guns could ever be controlled though. It's in the Constitution for pete's sake. Maybe we should try to control ammunition instead. Limit how much an individual can buy, and monitor individual's buying habits. Good job for the ATF to take up.
Second, is abortion. If you have a penis, you are automatically disqualified from even giving your opinion on the subject. I know that I wouldn't want a bunch of women telling me what I should do with my frank and beans. I don't necessarily agree with all aspects of it, but every situation is different. You can't make blanket laws, and expect it to work in any given scenario. This is the only country in the world where this is an issue in every single election. Maybe if both sides spent less time and resources debating and campaigning for or against abortion, and used all of this time and money on the children that could actually use both, this wouldn't be an issue in the first place. There are plenty of children that need parents, food, shelter, and just plain help that aren't receiving any. We should take care of what we have, before we worry about what hasn't even been born yet.

I agree with your statement about Islamic radicals. These individuals have been a problem for decades. The world could give these extreme "believers" everything they wanted, and they still wouldn't be happy. When you teach and worship hate, you can never be happy. There will always be someone or something else to blame for whatever is upsetting you at the time. If anything, these worshipers should be dealt with in the same manner that they try to persuade society with. Treat them like they treat us. Hurt them like they hurt us.

On an unrelated thought, I'm starting to feel like we should legalize drugs. In countries where contraband substances are legal, the crime rate, unemployment rate, and over doses aren't any different than they presently are here. We can't continue to try and control stupidity. If someone wants to really do something, they will find a way. Why not produce the stuff ourselves, regulate it, and tax the crap out of it. It would be more easily monitored, controlled, and safer. I've been around since the start of the "War on Drugs", and haven't noticed little or any difference on the amount of drugs in society. I'm sure that I could go to the local high school or college, and find the same amount of whatever I'm looking for that I could thirty years ago. We should stop wasting money trying to fight something that is never going to end, and start raising money to help with things the country needs. The ATF could incorporate this into their department. The money raised could help with education and rehab. It would also help with the prison overpopulation by eliminating the need to incarcerate users and addicts. These people need help, not prison. Your tax dollars also wouldn't be used to pay for "court ordered rehab" for celebrities and others that can afford to pay for it themselves.

wow so many nice pistols I am envious! though I am sure the colt is your prize possession my favorite is the kimber sounds like a beauty. I love the trigger action on the 1911's so consisitent. easy gun to fire and very accurate even for the novice!
I thought about my next pistol being the beretta in a .40
So many great pistols out there, thats one of the problems I have when it comes to buying I am to indecisive. only wish to hit the powerball!

SGT, yeah I feel like a kid in a candy store everytime I go to the local gunshop. I spent over 7k in the last 12mos on guns and accessories , Their eyes light up everytime they see me walk through the door, cha-ching! I"m not rich, just single , one advantage of being so. Those darn gun magazines get my juices flowing for a new toy. Think I'm just about satisfied for now , maybe just a mossy in a 20g pump and that will do it. Haven't fired most of the guns that I have now. The berreta I have is an American made one .Don't know how it shoots yet, but when you cock it back ,you can tell it is a quality firearm, has a durable finish as well. The kimber was purchased 2 weeks ago, I get it out every couple of days just to play with the laser. Nah, not gonna sell any unless I lose my job or something.

PostaI, I agree with you 100% on legalizing pot,its no more harmful than alcohol. Too hard to regulate it though ,because it's too easy to grow. Hard drugs on the other hand, can drive people to do insane things and would reek havoc in the work place. Americans in general have no self control for anything ,from shopping to drinking to eating, so I don't know about cocaine etc. Don't have a problem with the 3 day waiting period for gun purchases and psyic exam.but the NRA would have a field day with that.That's why I don't support the NRA ,they bash dems. too much ,which is in their interest to do so. You better watch it Postal your last couple of views are gonna give you a liberal label.LOL
