I think it will be 6 and they are in order of ranking Kansas, tu, OU, Baylor, TEXAS A&M and K-State. That is what I think as of today, but a lot could change after the confrence tourney.
I think a lot of people agree on 6. The only way I see less than 6 is if we loose in the first round to Iowa State or something (depends on what happens today) but we'd probably squeek in anyway. If Baylor would have lost to Tech and then in the fist round of the Big 12 they may have been in trouble. Right now I think the order is. Kansas, tu, OU, KState, A&M, Baylor.
I put us over Baylor because:
Our best wins: tu, Oklahoma. Last 10 games: 5-5
Baylors best wins: KState, Notre Dame. Last 10 games: 5-5
Our two big wins are better right now mainly because Baylor played both those teams and lost twice to each. We lost to KState once. We also have a small head-to-head edge because we beat them last by 14 at their place. The first meeting it took them 5 OTs to win in January.
I hope we stay out of the 8 seed vs. 9 seed game because then at leat we have a chance to make it to the sweet 16. A 12 seed wouldn't be bad cause then you play a 5 seed, then a 4 or a 13.
Kansas and tu are the only easy teams to seed(KU #1 and texas #2) after that I think OU, K-State, Baylor and us are all going to be between 8-10 seeds. The order is very hard to determine right now but after the tourney it will be easy. Whoever does best in the tourney out of the four previous teams will get the better seed. Right know I think it is pretty much equal. I still stand by first post on sedding for now.
I do agree I would love to see us at a 12 seed because it would be an easier path, but I think we can beat a lot of teams if we can come out with emotion and control. Our problems this year have been free throws and TO. We like to try to hard and we end up throwing the ball away or dribling it off ourselves. I think we could beat the #1 seed IF, and it is a big if, we play our best. Unfourtenately we can not be consestant.

I think that the only thing that the conference tourney changes is seeding for KU and t.u. KSU should make it, and there's really no reason for BU to not making unless they slop up their first tourney game.
I think one conference tourney win sends us dancing. But, maybe with a good showing we can build some momentum heading into the Big Dance.
Yea, big win. We are definetly in the tourney now and hopefully can keep winning in the big 12 tourney against ku. We should be a higher seed than baylor and ksu because we just beat both of them.
Digger Phelps on ESPN said Baylor is OUT. Dont know if that will be true or not but they are definatley bouncing on the bubble. Id like to see them get in.
