The Tourney starts today.
What I expect:
Gophers to take care of NW. They have proven that they can beat the teams they should, and this is a team that should be beaten.
What I hope:
That we play IU tough. They beat us twice and should beat us again (basically another home game for them), but I still think we match up better against them than the other 3 top teams. They have the weakest D of the top 4.
We just need to play tough and SMART the WHOLE game. I am hoping for the ole 3rd time's a charm deal. I know they are looking past us for their dream game, IU vs. Purdue.
Let's mess that up for them. Go Gophs!!!!!!!!!

The Gophers will be ready to go. Tubby needs 2 more wins for a 20 win season. The Gophers need to go at DJ White and get him in foul trouble early. However, they need to take it 1 game at a time ,starting with NW. Good Luck Gophers and play hard and smart.

I was scared about this Northwestern game from the start. When I got home and seen it was 31-18 NU and Tollackson was out of the game I thought well this isn't good but when we started the 2nd half on a 7-0 run and then hung on and won 55-52 I was relieved. Well lets hope we get a win against Indiana tomorrow night.

I'll agree with Jasson on this one.... a little worried at first, but none the less, glad to see they won against NW!! For Tubby and the boys, like you said ski-u-muh, they need to lay it on IU tomorrow and as far as IU's hopes of playing Purdue, lets mess it up REEEAAAALL good. GO GOPHS!!

Yeah, that would have been a really disappointing end to a pretty good season for us. I don't expect to beat Indiana, but if it is still a game in the last minute, I think that would be great.

Wow, that was an ugly game but happy they pulled it out. Hope we got that out of our system.
As for tonight, it needs to get much better. I do think having all the pressure on IU with the Gophs having nothing to lose will help. Shots are a little easier when you are the underdog. Hopefully IU will be looking past us.

IU just lost to Penn State, I wouldn't count on them looking past Minnesota.
They can't look past anybody.

As much as i love the gophs, I dont believe they can take down Indiana. With the combination of DJ White, Eric Gordon, and Armon Bassett thay will have thier hands full.
The line is -6 For indiana, which to me seems pretty appropriate. When the Hoosiers came to the barn for that heated matchup earlier this year, the line was Indiana -1. Last week when they played it was Indiana -9. I am pretty cofident that the gophs will lose by about the spread
