This is one of the most rediculous posts I have read in a long time.  Miami doesn't need to sell tickets.  The Fins are the one team in miami that will sell even when the team sucks.  What they do need are players who will help them win games, not players who will fill seats.  And i can surely see why you are not running an NFL franchise.  You would trade your workhorse stud RB who you just drafted #2 overall just a few years ago for a light in the @$$, finesse back that won't be able to carry the load on his own.  Are you serious???  do you realize Ronnie Brown was leading the league in yardage before he got hurt last year?

Didnt anyone learn their lesson with Reggie Bush???

Yes, they did learn their lesson with Bush.  Everyone realized that you don't select a finesse back that can't carry the load in the top 5 of the NFL draft.  You draft guys like Mario Williams who actually is living up to his draft status!!!  Bush is trash and McFadden won't be much better.  Trust the Tuna.  I can almost guarantee you that McFadden isn't even an option for Parcells!!!!

just top show you that NFL beat writers are sheep... BAAAAHHHH....

And you don't think you are a sheep listening to all of these people talking about how great McFadden is???

I disagree, if you pick #1 you need to fill a need.  Excitement is not the type of "need" that wins football games.  Never compare the Saints as a Franchise to the Dolphins.  Yes, the Saints need excitment to get fans to the games.  That isn't the case in Miami.  Field a good product, and they will sell out.  Jake Long could solidfy that line for years to come.  Offensive and Defnesive lines win Super bowls.  Ask the Giants what wins super bowls.

And I used to be a huge fan of Reggie Bush, but all he is turning into is a very mini Marshall Faulk.  He is Marsall Faulk minus 15 touchdowns and 1,000 yards rushing.  I'll take Mario Williams everyday of the week and twice on Sunday over Bush.  So I think teams did learn a lot from the Texans.  Super Star RB's do not equal wins.  Hell, Adrian Perterson was the best rookie back in a LONG time and that didn't help his team a whole lot.  They were just as good when they had Chester Taylor in.

All of these comparisons to Bush are unwarranted. They're completely different types of backs.

Wrong, they are the same kind of back, all finesse, only McFadden is a little bigger.  And McFadden was a one man show?  Felix Jones had 11 TDs (rushing) to McFadden's 16.  He had 8.7 yards per rush to McFadden's 5.6.  He had more recieving yards on less receptions.  AND he returned kicks.  I spent all season wondering why McFadden was a heisman candidate when Jones was the one hitting homers!!!

He's the most sure fire prospect in the draft.

He will surely never live up to his hype!!!!

I hate to call names but anyone who actually watched Peterson at Oklahoma and actually watched McFadden at Arkansas and still thinks that Mcfadden is even close to what Peterson was is a complete and utter imbecile who knows jack about football!!!!  Peterson is a medium sized back with speed, power and he seems to love contact and brutalizing tacklers.  McFadden is a finesse back.  He ran outside because you can do that in college.  In the NFL, again, just ask Reggie Bush, that speed gets negated by fast linebackers.  The way McFadden and Bush run, the NFL is not suited for them.  They were men amongs boys in college because of their speed.  Peterson is the prototype for NFL backs.  The size, speed, agility, awareness, vision.  He has it all and McFadden has speed!!!!!!!!!

First the Dolphins have no issues selling tickets

i hope they learned their lessons with Bush - undersized, cannot carry the load himself - i'm sure NO would rather have a do over - let's see Reggie Bush among league leaders in  fumbles with 8 and drops with 10 - averaged only  3.7 yrds per carry only 581 yards rushing in 12 games - compared to say Cedric Benson arguably one of the worst starting RBs in the league - 11 games 674 yards 3.4 yards per carry - wow way to go reggie

How about Ronnie Brown before the injury?  only 7 games 602 yards 5.1 per carry - behind a crappy QB and line - and you want to trade this guy?  Come on!!!!

Everyone ripped Houston for passing on Bush and Young, but right now Mario Williams looks like the best player of the 3

So come on really - do not compare McFadden  to  Bush - i think you meant Peterson, I hope.  And while peterson is talented, he does have a very good o-line to run behind.
i agree that the big tuna knows what he is doing, and i believe he would love to trade out rather than deal with an eventual holdout of an  overrated QB (Ryan) or McFadden whom they do not need - a team is only as good as its lines.  Enjoy Jake Long

First of all, the Dolphins don't need to take a runningback. Ronnie Brown was having a career year last season before his injury. He would have been leading the league at the end, not Tomlinson. They don't need to pick uop a finesse back with the first overall pick. Second of all, Bill Parcells runs things in Miami now. He will decide who they take, and he doesn't care that much about putting fans in the seats, he's gonna win. Jake Long is the best player in the draft. A good line makes everyone look better.

EVERYONE is crazy to think the Miami will pass on McFadden with the first pick. Lets see, take an offensive tackle or defensive end? Does either one sell tickets? NO, NO, NO.

Giostar72, IF i were a Dolphins fan, the last thing i would want top worry about is selling tickets.  The best way to see tickets is WINNING.  McFadden isnt the BIGGEST need. They should trade down, but if they dont they need a Solid player that will be there for the long haul.

Didnt anyone learn their lesson with Reggie Bush??? just top show you that NFL beat writers are sheep... BAAAAHHHH....

Reggie Bush or Mario Williams....shoot lets throw in D'Brickishaw Fergison in there too.....McFadden, Dorsey, Long....sound familiar? yes it does. The Texans (as dumb as i called them) are a better team because they didnt draft Bush. So because NFL writers know this, they are sheep?????? That BAAAAHHHH you wrote should be turned into a HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA directed directly towards you.
