Tejano- I dont think I would go that far :)
I think I understand what gigmags is trying to say. Sometimes it seems like Deandre interupts the flow of the game but hes a very talented rebounder and shot blocker when he wants to be. Our inside depth will be absolutely crucial against the Bruins, Davis will probably get in foul trouble and we'll need Elonu to suck up some fouls. This is a team (ucla) that you want to be physical with, and I have noticed that since the big 12 tourney our big guys have been getting in more foul trouble, but we have been playing better ball. Couincidence? I dont think so, sometimes fouls can be a good thing. Back to Jordan, we will need him in our deep front court rotation in this game. A lot of pressure will be put on the guards and Deandre will need to be money in the paint to relieve some of the guard pressure. Im lookin for 15-25 solid min. Lucky for us, the Bruins coach, who is a defensive genius, will only have 1 day to prepare, I think this helps us more strategy wise than them.
Lets face it, besides us and UCLA, we are in a guard dominated bracket. If we can somehow accomplish this duanting task, we should be able to dominate the Dukes, Xaviers, Drakes, and Purdues in the post. UCONN might be a tough one but I think we could win that as well. I know this is far down the line but you never know....
