	They actually credited Roy's tying goal to Vanek, so it was a 2 goal period for Hecht and a 3 goal period for Vanek.

	There is no question this comeback kept them in the playoff picture. I know being down three doesn't seem like much...but it basically shortens the schedule by one game. I don't see Philly holding up against that division with their 8 to go, and I can easilly see Buffalo sweeping Toronto, spliting at worst with Boston, spliting with Ottawa and spliting with Montreal - will 5 of 8 get us in?

	Early on in the game I was thinking they should bench Thomas Vanek because he was playing sloppy and seemed like he was giving no effort. Then the third period happened. After the game Vanek mentioned that Ales Kotalik was not a center and it was tough to make plays with him at center. This really isint an excuse for not trying and quitting on plays, but i think he may have given away the key to his success. He started to play harder in the third period after being put with Derek Roy. Vanek needs to play with people he likes, otherwise hes not going to work hard. It is not a great excuse but he can be great if he is playing well and Lindy Ruff really needs to find ways to make it work. Lets go Sabres!

	This has been the downfall of the Lightning all year. Inept play in the third period. Kudos to the Sabres for not getting down, but as for the Lightning, go ahead and cash in the rest of the season for that number one pick! That was embarassing@!

	All that I can say is that I was embarrassed to wear my Lightning gear for the first time in a long time. Mike Smith coming off a shut out and did not start is B.S. I understand that they have to evaluate Kari Ramo, but give Smith his props.
