I'm as tired as anyone of the Big Ten bashing that has been going on for the past few years ... how is it that our conference is referenced as "over-rated" constantly when it is criticized as much as it is for being too weak?

To finish that thought (POS laptop), I'm glad to see my Big Ten brothers kickin' a little ass in the first round of the tournament this year.
With respect to all others, the Big Ten will always epitomize what every other conference in the nation strives to be.  Tradition, competition, rivalry, longevity.  And winning.  It's no wonder the Big Ten receives swift and heavy criticism ... it is the envy of the nation, and the winningest conference in history.

The Big Ten will dominate again!  it is inevitable.  And the sooner the better.

For all the bashing, Wisconsin and Michigan State are looking really good.  All the hype about Michael Beasley and how he can carry his team -- oops, sorry, he(they) got trounced by Wisconsin.  Go Big Ten!  Take two into the Elite 8!  Then we'll see if they still talk about us being overrated.

First let me state I am a Big Ten fan; but, the hated Pac 10 has more National Champions than any other conference in all sports.

That didn't happen...my Spartans got there ass kicked...any time MSU  goes on a double digit run and is still behind by double digits is an ass kicking. As far as Wisconsin goes...their depth at the guard position was weakened by injury...really I think we all were shown how well they play basketball in North Carolina.

Post season play wasnt to bad for the big ten this year, minus MSU against memphis, but look what memphis did to texas and UCLA, also wisconsin looked good until davidson came along, and we all know what davidson has done this NCAA torny.  Purdue didnt do horrible, and then there is Indiana, just couldnt come together.  But the other big ten team that was on the bubble and didnt make the NCAA goes on to win the NIT.  People saying the big ten in weak, needs to look at the post season to see that isnt true.  Just because big ten doesnt have teams with three or less losses doent mean it is weak, i think it means that every time big ten teams play each other it going to be a game to watch.  watch the hawkeyes this year playing against ohio st they lose by 31 only to play them about a month later and beat them.
