I did a year in Korea,  China would be cool, after 9 years your pretty much acclimated You are right this is home, I have a number of my own businesses that my wife and I run. I am fortunate enough to be able to read, write and speak Chinese which makes life a lot easier (it also scares the life out of the locals to hear a westerner speaking their language). lol

Patriot Joe - When you where in Korea, did you try dog ? If you did what did you think ?

I have been up to South Korea a number of times and I am going on a cricket tour to North Korea in May.

I didn't.  i tried snake.  I noticed the cats dont have any tails but nobody would talk.  I saw all the dog farms.  All the Katusa i talked to said mostly old timers eat dog.  North Korea the closest I came was the DMZ

Speaking of snakes, I was at a local restuarant and a snake escaped from the kitchen. It was slithering for it's life being chased through the restaurant by 4 or 5 cooks.

Absolute bedlam !

The snake tried it's best to get away but got trapped up against the wall. The next time I saw him he was being served to the table next to me.

True story.

That's great comfort food, Josh.  Lots of great meals built around a menu like that!

Tsing Dao beer is probably the most famous but I actually prefer Jing Yan (Beijing) beer, not as well known but I think the flavour is better.
