He was arrested alot but he was only charged once I believe what ever happened to innocent until proven guilty its the fact that we have alot of Cowboys haters on here don't be mad that Dallas will have 2 shutdown corners if the trade falls through

I like this move for the fact that the Cowboys may be getting him for a sixth round pick but probably more like a third or fourth. Also if he stayed out of trouble i believe he possesses the ability to be a top corner in the league. However if theres one thing that we can say about the Cowboys is that they are not the Steelers or Patriots when it comes to keeping a player in check. I give this move a coin flip.

"Whats next? Dallas talks with Atlanta about trading for Michael Vick?"
LOL...I hope they go after Pacman. I can see it now: "Pacman Jones arrested with Tank Johnson after hitting up 20 Dallas strip clubs where riots and shootings broke out."
This is definitely NOT the city you want to bring this guy to. But alas, Jerry Jones will always do the Cowboys a favor and screw them up royally, one way or the other. LOL...I'll never forget you Q. Never!

"here don't be mad that Dallas will have 2 shutdown corners if the trade falls through".
And you'll STILL lose in the first round. Haven't you figured it out yet....Jerry Jones is cursed for what he did to Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer and the people of Arlington. He'll be lucky to survive his stadium being finished.

He's cursed? That's why his team won three super bowls in the 90's, right? You are an idiot! Did you forget that Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer were coaches for him? I agree he did Johnson wrong, but Switzer? Please!

Its very big of Dallas to offer up a seventh round pick for Jones. Not enough? We'll throw in a salary that we want to unload as well.Still not enough? How about a provisional 6th rounder in the 2010 draft, based on games played. While they are at it, they should throw in a bag of donuts, that way when he implodes some night while partying the night away on Live Oak it won't hurt so much. Hell, they should give up nothing and wait for poor TN to have to cut him loose...and save on the donuts.

Dallas turning into the Oakland Raiders taking eveyones rejects off their hands. Maybe him and T.O can form a tag-team in TNA wrestling when they both go AWOL!

As much as I distain the Cowboys, I think this would be a good move for them. Corner is a need for them, adding Pacman as the #2 corner isn't bad. Dallas has taken risky character players for years and for the most part it has worked. The guy gives a boost to the return game as well. They'll get a premium player at the position at a garage sale price as long as they can keep him on the field and out of trouble.

Pacman reminds me of Mike Tyson,a ton of talent and no self-control. He seems intent on going to Dallas where there's no shortage of 'scrip (sic) clubs'. Dallas is the only team that can take a chance on him because the owner and GM are the same person.

At the end of every season teams go into off season looking at what the team needs to improve. Going into this off season Dallas need a RB, WR and CB. Dallas has 2 first round picks. They need 3 players and have 2 first round picks. By getting Pacman they can then use their first round picks for the other 2 needs they have RB and WR. This solves their problems at all 3 positions.

If he messes up you still need a CB. Dallas is like my team, the Jags,a player or two away from the top.Do you risk that position on a big ?.

thatlsk
your theory is sound, on paper it looks like a no brainer to sign him. But it is a gamble. You can't measure things like chemistry and character. It could work out well for the 'boys but it could also explode in their faces. Personally, i hope for the latter. Last year it was so great to see them fall apart in the playoffs and i see even worse for them in the upcoming season............

Dallas is taking very little risk. the only people against this deal for the most part are those who will not benefit from him being with dallas( assuming he acts right).Lets face it for atleast one year dallas will have a top 3 secondary. There def will be able to do things that they havent been able to do .
