I'm not a fan of either team, but I hate UCLA, so tonight I was an A&M fan. Anyone else think A&M players got hammered about a half-dozen times during the last 4-5 minutes, including the last play. Half of those "blocks" were fouls that weren't called.

Looked to me that the NCAA and CBS wanted UCLA to continue...Unfortunately they got their wish.

Yea the refs were really bad in favor of ucla just as they have been in the past month for ucla.

A&M played well and i am proud of them. But they blew that game. They scored 5 points over the last 10:06 of the 2nd half. Horrible.

The refs and home game for ucla didn't help either. Kevin Love is a fouling machine who rarely gets called.

I like watching Love, and I don't blame the UCLA players for the horrible job the refs did. It certainly did seem there was some kind of deal made, and the NCAA looks suspect. It was awful that no fouls were called with all the hacking that was going on. I was so angry to see the no-calls in UCLA's favor and the tick-tack calls against A&M right after. What confrence did that crew come from?

How about the ball off of Westbrook at the UCLA end that they got to keep? That was right in front of the ref and even the tv guys saw it. The tv guys were not saying anything about the brutality that was beening let go.

disapointing! Good looking out, A&M

I've been a college basketball fan for over thirty years and it is very frustrasting and extremely disappointing to see how big money and tv markets are driving the officiating just like in the NBA.  Whatever happened to just calling it like you see it  and letting the kids decide who wins.  It would be physically impossible for all three refs not to have seen the two major hacks on Sloan's arm on that last shot.  UCLA stepped up the last seven minutes, but it was evident to anyone with a clue that the refs weren't going to allow the Bruins to lose.  Way too much money at stake keeping the West Coast market tuned in a little longer.   Just calling it like I see it.

I am glad I am not the only one who thought a lot of the blocks were a little hard and getting more skin and less leather.  I was thinking the same thing, but I was wondering if it was just wishfull thinking.  BUT, if we made our free throws when we took them we would have won.

I say the game needs to be looked at by the NCAA and made sure the right calls were made.  I would like to see the final 10 min of the game again and make sure I saw what I think I saw.
