Evidently Mike Freeman has never watched the Tigers play and he definitely didn't watch this game!!!. 19 assists to 34 field goals for the street ball Tigers versus 9 assists to 40 field goals for the wonderful Team play of Mississippi State. Give me a friggin' break!! Freeman's pissed because he didn't pick the Tigers to advance and now he's claiming that they're winning on raw talent alone. On second thought, Freeman is an inspiration to us all. A no-talent griper who couldn't work the third shift at a 7 Eleven is writing for a well-respected sports website. Heck, if he can pull that off, I could be the next Michael Jordan. Hey Mike, get over it, alright?

all u memphis fans can shut up. memphis is way overrated. if they were in the sec they would be a 4 seed at best. of course they're only gonna lose nine games over three years when they play teams most of us have never heard of. everyone will see that they are ove when michigan state beats them handily. Mem hasn't seen a defense like ours all year and they'll get frustrated and start heaving long bombs at the end of the shot clock. my prediction, msu 72, mem 57

Love that name but maybe it should be bleedinggums_09 because when Memphis beats up on those State boys, who can't play on the road you'd atleast have an excuse for your babble.

Watching this game today, I was reminded of an AAU street ball team. The term "AND 1" seemed very in-line. Memphis will be playing Michigan St in the sweet 16. Tom Izzo will have something special in mind for the Tigers. In the event that they get by MSU, the tigers will face something they have not faced this year... Texas will be waiting (after they beat Stanford) with a large home court advantage. Texas fans will find tickets into Reliant stadium. Thats right, tiger fans. Your team who played every tough game this year on the road or on a neutral court will be the guests of about 30,000 whoppin, hollarin' longhorn fans. Texas has the talent level you have, but even more important, they will play like a D-1 TEAM. Dorsey and Dozier will foul out, Rose and Douglas-Roberts (Don't women use hyphens in their names?) will face a tough backcourt duo, and your tigers will be watching the final 4 from their Tennessee Correctional Facility dorms.
PS- any more bar parties lately? Memphis is a lot like New Orleans without the parade and beads. Perfect place for a bunch of criminals like that.

Mr. Freeman,
You point out the obvious in terms of Memphis' difficulties from the free throw stripe....but you do a disservice to yourself when you compare memphis to an "And 1" style of basketball....at tha | |
