hey everyone
my name is daniel... im from zurich in switzerland...
i never really cared about football (everything is about soccer and icehockey here) and only watched the super bowl every year...
about four years ago or so i decided to buy madden 2001 and somehow chose the Saints as my first team and fell in love with them thats the way i became a saints fan
i followed the team over the internet the following years and watched all the highlights i could find... finally some austrian television channel started broadcasting the playoff games and the 2006 game against the Eagles was the first saints i could watch live
last year i found a half-legal way to get to see regular season games but only watched three cause they start so late
unfortunately i got noone here to talk about football, despite my efforts to encourage my friens to watch it, so cbs is kinda my only way to talk about football with others and i really enjoy the saints community

sitisfit or d, I grew up playing soccer here. played through high school. Anyways soccer is a great sport, but Americans seem to love football more. Glad to have you on board and also glad to see your first game was the Eagles playoff game.

Wow Sitisfit it's cool to know we have a Black and Gold Brother in Switzerland, I think you will win for being the fan that lives the farthest away.

soccer is indeed a great sport, at least to play it yourself... i just dont like the whole mentality of the players, you know always trying to get a call from the officials, cant stand that.
i played icehockey for most of my life, once soccer for a year, but since i was pretty good in icehockey and didnt have the time for both stopped playing it competitively but still play it in the summer with friends
last summer i even played some football, but then didnt have the time for it cause of school and everything, maybe im gonna start again some time soon...
and hell yeah the game against the Eagles was as good as it can get for the first game to watch... i remember the play when they pushed deuce into the endzone like it was yesterday

Hello to all Saints fans ! Well let me see here I am originally from Lawton OK , but live in KS . I have been a Saints fan since 1983 , that would have made me 5 whole yrs old . My father was watching football and offered me a seat next to him , he asked me which team did I want to win ? After a brief moment I told him the gold team with the cool helmet ! Sadly they did not win but I have been a die hard every since that day ! Like I said I live in KS so I look really out of place wearing my Saints gear around , but the funniest thing in the world is that after our " miracle" season I sure seen alot of Saints gear being worn around here , It faded out this season though . Anyway it's always good to be a Saints fan ( even through the bad times ). Believe me when I say I BELIEVE !!! Go get em this season !!!! GO SAINTS!!!

Sitisfit, nice to hear that story. Like I posted earlier, I have lived in New Orleans all my life and usually only your major name franchises(Cowboys or Steelers) get that type of global love. It is nice to say the Saints touch people outside of the states. As a lifelong Saints fan, I can garuntee you that the heartaches triple the happy times but the happy times are worth it. You have been watching them through their most successful decade for sure and hopefully we can continue and build on that.

What's up Saints nation?
My name is Grant. I'm from Napoleonville, LA. I must say I'm a young Saints fan. (16 years young) I haven't been a real football fan until i turned 9 or 10, but now i bleed black and gold like the rest of yall. Big Saints/Hornets/Astros fan. LSU rocks, Alabama and Auburn are gay. I am a sophomore at Assumption High School (whos athletics now suck) any questions, just ask i guess..
