Man, what a game. Thank goodness I signed up for NCAA.com. I am a transplanted Texan on the east coast and only saw like 15 minutes of the Texas/Stanford game. Then I went online and saw the whole game. Wow! Texas was so dominant. Stanford was Stanford. They have 2 amazing players in the Lopez dudes, but they got frustrated by the wideness of Pittman.

One game at a time. This is how Texas will do it. One game at a time. Next challenge, Memphis. Come one Houston, show us your orange and white. Texas! Fight!

Great game by the horns, they silenced the critics that say an inside game trumps a good gaurd game in the postseason.  Our guards totally annihilated the Stanford backcourt, I dont even know if they combined for more than 15 points all game.  Pittman and Atchley did what they could to slow down the Lopezs enough to bag a 20 point win and a birth into the elite eight.  Augustin stepped up in a big game and our inside guys added some needed scoring.  Overall, they looked solid, but they are going tohave to play their best ball on Sunday, bc Memphis looks hot right now and they totally murdered a good MICHST team, its going to be a hell of a game.

It's also been great to be able to see the CBS feed on Sportsline.com.  How awesome is it that you can pick any game going and it's just like it is on TV?  I'm a Longhorn on the West Coast, but I'd bet during the regular season, we get more Texas games in the regular schedule.  Lots of hoop games this year, and we average about 8 games of football without any pay packages.

Longhorns are playing well right now, good enough to beat Memphis.  They can do it, but they are going to have to shoot the lights out.  Barnes is going to have to coach the game of his life.  I'm sure he's been studying up on Memphis for a while.  If they can avoid turnovers and get a decent FG%, they should be in a close game at the end where they will actually have an advantage.  I don't buy Pitino's pre-existing excuse about having to face Texas in Houston.  Sounds like a guy who knows his team is vulnerable.

Who wants to see a Championship Game with Texas vs. Kansas?  REMATCH
