All Virginia Tech fans are simultaneously clapping for Curry and booing Va Tech's coach Seth Greenberg. This is one sad Hokie.
Dell Curry, one of Va Tech's greatest players ever, just wanted his son to attend his alma mater. Greenberg told Stephen he could walk-on, then maybe get a scholarship his second year. Dell, Stephen and the rest of the family told Greenberg to take a hike.
What a great decision by the Currys. Go to a program where you get all the playing time you want, and become the centerpiece, or go to a program that is getting the reputation for choking when it counts.
Be great Stephen! That's what believing in yourself will accomplish.
