Oh well I'm sure coach Williams doesn't want to play his beloved Kansas.  But that's what it is.

I saw that too. I hope sportsline was being sarcastic when they said that.

Excellent point tarheelguy124, when you state the baloney in that a 2 point victory is convincing . . . NOT!

I'll go so far as to say that had the refs called a fare game from the 5 minute mark of the second half, Kansas would definitely have lost. How did Kansas wear down Curry? BY HANGING ON HIM AND HACKING HIM NUMB! That's how he was worn down. The refs would not call a foul on Kansas despite the obvious hacking by the big men when Davidson went to the hoop. Nor did they blow a whistle when they hacked Curry like Chicken Chow Mein. I didn't care who won the game, but I didn't need to see the refs influence the outcome as badly as they did. Their non-calls against Kansas and their ticky-tac calls that went consistently against Davidson ruined what would have been a more exciting finish to the game. It probably would have resulted in a Davidson win or at the very least an overtime period to say the least. Sad for the Davidson folks as their kids didn't deserve that shoddy treatment by the refs. If you Tivoed the game, you'll have the evidence from the 5 minute mark on. Pathetic.

Oh great here come excuses I did see the last 5 minutes you saw just what you wanted to see. Davidson got its share of calls too can we please not have the whining from Davidson supporters. I can't stand this kind of nonsense. Kansas didn't play its best game and still pulled it out. Just because some of you wanted to see another George Mason doesn't make everything an injustice.

The refs weren't one-sided, just awful.  Jackson, with one Davidson arm around the waist, another hand in his eye.  The call?  Out of bounds to Davidson.  Jackson standing absolutely sill with hand up.  Davidson player runs NEAR his hand and falls while shooting.  The call?  Foul on Jackson.  Bad refereeing because it was so inconsistent, not because it was one-sided.

Kansas didn't convince me either. You can take out all the "what ifs" of that game like the refs lossing their whistles at the end of the game, or if Curry didn't pick up his dribble or dished the ball off 2 seconds sooner.

Davidson made Kansas look bad.

This is where you can start to question Kansas' relatively weak schedule compared to UNC's.

Besides calling a 2-point win "convincing," they also slammed Davidson's "feel-good nonsense."

When did CBS Sportsline become a KU blog? The editors here should be embarrassed.

CBS should be ashamed

Is there ever a game in which someone doesn't bitch about the officiating?  I think not.  This game, the super bowl, last years AFC championship game?  It happens, if it makes you fell better, more power to you.

And they also said they "wore down" Davidson. What? Not the game I watched. Davidson took the last to WIN the game, Sportsline. Did you miss that? And had their star leaned in and drawn the foul on the 3 attempt rather than passing, it likely was headed to OT or better.

Worn down? Why, was Davidson the favorite or something? I think Davidson's continued ability to stay in it was amazing. Compare to Stanford against UT, or UT against Memphis, or Louisville against UNC, where towards the end, the losing team ran out of steam. Davidson NEVER ran out of steam. They never looked tired. They never looked nervous. They looked like they belonged in this game, and probably could have beaten Kansas on a different day, or UCLA for that matter.

Congrats to Davidson. You should be proud of what you did this weekend. Amazing stuff.
