People have a tendency to dislike anything that you are force fed. We are force fed all of this media propaganda about TH and how great he is and how is work ethic is Jordanesque. Oh, he such a pleasure to watch! Oh, he is the best player in the country! Don't get me wrong he IS good but they have a tendency to over do it during the telecast on TH analogies. I would take him on my college team any day. But since he is better than average college player and will have a below average NBA career he will be considered a bust! Face reality he is a workhorse and not basketball talent.

I think he was just commenting on all the hype (deservedly) Hansbrough gets, I don't think he was taking anything away. Good to see Rose being more consistent, however he will have to put in 3 years of this and carry his team through more than a handfull of games to be in the same league as Hansbrough. And I don't care if you think Hansbrough is going to be a great pro or not, Boozer and Barkley are 6'7" and 6'6" respectively, but they play hard and are/were skilled, so don't tell me hansbrough is too short or too small. He's dunked on a 7'7" guy, played entire teams of 6'10" to 7' guys and still come out on top.

Yeah, I've called out Freeman before and he does right some articles that are racially biased but this isn't one of them. It is however, yet anothger example of how bad of a writer he is.

Who says that other than a 5th grade writer for their school paper? That's an elementary level of intellectual prowess right there. Seriously, this guy just seems like he is trying too hard... If you don't use a word like "aichmophobia" more than once in your life, don't go look it up and throw it in your article just to score literary points. I'm sorry I live in the south and i have seen racism at it's worst. I don't like ANYONE appearing to be racist. I'm white but I have black friend's and I think it's idiotic for this Freeman guy to even appear to be racist. It give whites the excuse to be racist.
