The logical choice would be Duke, since we both finished second in the league, but also can't see Duke coming to Mackey Arena either.  I am predicting that we will play Miami at home, while UW will play UNC, and MSU will play Duke.

I think the Big Ten will have the best chance it's had in awhile to win the Big Ten/ACC challenge next year. Purdue, Michigan State, Minnesota, and Ohio State are all pretty good teams that will have a lot of upside going into next season. I wouldn't be surprised to see all four beat their ACC opponent.

I think we might see a rematch with Clemson or play VT.  Either way it should be interesting at Mackey.

PS - The Big 10 has yet to win the challenge

Our bottom isn't as good as their bottom so Big Ten will still lose.  I'm liking Purdue's chances to win though.

I would like to see Va. Tech.  They, like Purdue, are a very young team.  As a bonus my boss is a Va. Tech Grad, so I'm sure we would have a nice little side wager.

peace,

Purdue is going to be the class of the Big 10 next year... so logically they should match us up with the best team in the ACC, however I dont see that happening! MAYBE Duke? but probably Clemson. they really like that matchup for some reason, since it  would be the third time we would play them in the challenge. Whatever happens, i dont see Purdue loosing unless we play UNC.

P.S. i have a $5,000 bet that purdue will make the final 4 once in the next 3 years WISH ME LUCK!!!!!!!!!!

Since it is a "made for TV event"...  I expect we don't get Duke or Carolina or any team that has a tradition.  Lets face it, ESPN and their anaylists (which shall remain nameless but always wears a green tie and a few others) hate us and don't care about a school from the Midwest in Indiana.

If Purdue is ranked in the top 15 like they should be, I don't see any way that we will get less than one of the top 3 in the ACC.  That being said, of course the analyst do not like the Big Ten, half of them have been shun, from coaching in the Midwest.  The highlighter man needs to keep his mouth shut before Knight gets better and takes his job.  I see Knight coaching next year in the Midwest, he has to much love for Midwest ball players.

Boiler UP!
