Sorry!  My keyboard proficiency and eyesight seem to have slipped in recent weeks . . lol.  I'll try again.

Lord, help me to live each day so that at the end of it there is nothing I cannot share with You, nothing for which I cannot give thanks.

KIR

Hey guys! Nice to see everyone posting, today.

I do have another prayer request. This is for a friend. One of her cats ran away, but shes not sure why. The cat hardly ever leaves her house. Shes very worried and really wants her cat to com back safe and healthy. It may not seem like a lot, but i know that she'd appreciate the prayer. Thanks.

I am not going to say how old I am, but.......I may have been there when God created dirt.

CSF

However,

You remember that part about ...and God stepped out on the void...? Who do you think saw that? LOL  Age is an artificial demarkation, my friend, we will all eventually live forever, as long as we continue to believe. Kind of scares me to think of having to meet our Maker, but there has to be a time of apology too. Really is great to know your forgiven even if you haven't even got to the part of facing the music for all the ills you've done.

Bless you this day, amen.

Today is the 9th anniversary of the Columbine High School shootings. I was very close to the situation and personally knew the families of victims and survivors. Please include all that were impacted in your prayers (including the families of the two killers)

I'm running so desperately behind I may never catch up. I still carry this day as one of two that prove the power of God in modern days. 911 we will never forget and 4-20-99 is another. In both cases, no matter what anyone of the ilk of those who would ban God from anything, God heard the prayers of the faithful and returned to take those who believed into his heart. No one could keep God out of school in Columbine, for those who were attacked prayed, whether the ACLU would let them or not. Who could deny God then?

Hope my disjointed thoughts will somehow catch me up here and I won't be so terribly behind. However, forgive me my stream of consciousness for the short time, and I may get things figured out within a month or so. Bless all of you, now and forevermore, amen.

I've never posted here before, but I know Phantom posts here and that's why I do now.  He's really been on my mind for the past several days and I'd imagine you guys have said a prayer or two for him, so I figured this would be a good place to say what I'm feeling.

I've never met Phantom in person.  I've posted with him quite a bit on these boards, fairly regular emails, and I've talked to him on the phone.  Even so, he's my friend, and I'm worried about him.  He's the kind of guy this world could stand to have a few more of...  REALLY!  I first ran across him on the thread he got banned on, I invited him to the Kitchen, and the rest is history.  His wife sent some of us an email letting us know that the surgury was successful, but I guess I'll feel better when he's able to tell us himself that he's OK.

Let's all keep him in our prayers.  Thanks.

Mr.Clutch4,

I am an animal lover and I can sympathize with your friend whose cat ran away.   It may seem to be small thing, but you worry yourself sick over your pets . ( Nearly  like you worry about your kids).  I will pray for her cat to be found or return home safe and sound.
