Razor- Congrats on your wif'e's job!!

and Phantom- wow that must have been some serious surgery, I am glad it went well, and keep that recovery going good!!

Also an update on Noelle, they allowed her parents to take her to see her grandma-who is not doing so well, and wouldn't eat or move until finally when Noelle got there she went to the kitchen :)   - and this went well obviously, hopefully they let that happen again!
and she also moved her left leg-which along with her left side she wasnt able to control till then...so its going slow but shes still improving! :)

Good morning everyone.  I wanted to post a picture depicting the damage of a fire in W. TX. on Friday, but it cannot be done on this web sight. The fire was spreading through the pastures and brush in and was being fueled by the high winds.  A woman, whose daughter had a house, work shop, chickens, dogs, cats etc in the middle of the field that was burning, called friends to pray.  The aerial picture shows the devastating results of the fire, but in the middle of all that burned pasture was the house, shop etc...that was not touched.  Not even one animal was lost in the fire.    The power of prayer.

Razor, what wonderful news to here that your wife got the job! God will definitely see to it that his children are taken care. He always provides!

jano1, what a great testimony about this womans home that did not even get touched during this fire. God is amazing!

Too all my brothers and sisters, may you all be blessed, and may our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ keep you all covered in his blood!

Love to you all!

It has been several weeks since I posted last.  Been a very busy and stressful few weeks at that but everything is coming together thanks to the Lord and His blessings.  Our new court date for adopting Adam is set for June 6th so more traveling coming up.  The forteo injections are working and my back is getting better.  My knees are better as well but I am careful not to do too much and have them blow up again on me like balloons.

I actually have part of my garden in this year thanks to my hubby.  Our house is getting more organized and in a few more weeks is will be ready for Adam.  Praise the Lord again.  We still don't have a sure bet on our home study as it is up to the judge and for some reason they think I'm too nice and they are afraid he will hurt me.  My sister reassured her that I have the disciplinary side to me as well.  ha

I met a preacher yesterday who actually owns a septic cleaning service.  He came to clean ours out and invited us to his church on Mother's Day Sunday.  He is filled with the Holy Spirit and it was incredible talking with him and listening to him give all glory to our Lord.

Most people call me Razor so we will have to figure out a new nickname between razorback and me so we don't get confused with each other.

Geno, very good to see you back on here.  Good to see so many new people on here - may the Lord keep blessing this thread as he did the other one for so long.

God bless all those who come here and Lord, hear our prayers.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Hello Anita,

It is great to hear from you, I kind of lost my drive to sign on everyday, but I was missing all of my friends on here, I have also had some surgeries and have been pretty down!  In fact I will be having another Surgery tomorrow morning May 7th at 11:00am, so I will be down for a while again, I will try to get back on here as soon as possible!

May the Lord be with you in everything you do, and HAPPY MOTHERS DAY Anita!

Your brother in Christ
Geno

RW - I am glad to hear things are proceeding with Adam.  I am especially glad that you are doing better.  I will have to find time to send an e-mail and get more details.

KIR,

Busy as I may be, it is more than aggravating to know that you and Phantom are both on the down side of what was a very trying time and I didn't even find out in time to add my prayers to those of those who are truly blessed here. Forgive me for my shortsightedness. I do truly and fully pray for the continued recovery that you both so rightfully deserve. Bless you both in this time of need and trouble, amen.

Razorback,

we will all face our time of need and trouble, I only pray you have found an answer to the problems of losing your job. May God guide you to a new and more prosperous life, amen

No, gators, I am not from Wheat Ridge or Jeffco. I am truly a citizen of the world, as I have lived in so many parts of it. I do not know what made it stop spinning to make me land in North Taxolina, but it was more like luck of the draw. It seems as if I was put here for a reason, but have yet to figure it out.

I think the reason that has left our country is because our schools and many other governmental institutions have left God. The only thing is that when push comes to shove, no one can legislate God away. Columbine was, for me, a red letter day. God came back to school and evil was eventually quashed. Jesus will come back to judge the quick and the dead. It is kind of inspiring to know there are still signs that no matter how hard they try, the forces of evil marshalled against God are always destined to fail.

Have a good week, gators, will be trying to keep up if I can. Bless all who come here, amen.

ogr watches with great humility how his close friend phantom has come back to sit among other backbenchers, limping and all. The simple nod of recognition is all that is needed between them.

So good to see your return, will be sending you something you asked for soon, as promised, but still have to find it. Am really so technologically challenged as to be between the stages of ridiculous and ludicrous. Bless you now and forevermore, Phantom, amen.
