No kidding! This is not Patriots-Giants...this is a game of 2 very evenly matched, very deep teams. As a UNC fan, I actually fear Kansas more than UCLA or Memphis. Kansas can match UNC at almost everywhere on the floor and they can run with the Heels which most teams cannot. This is a powerhouse game! This game will come down to defense and rebounding and could be decided by the last possession. Of course, I would like the Heels to blow them out, but that is highly unlikely.

It appears the national media, along with most of the country, has written off Kansas to win this game, let alone the national title. As a KU alum/fan I couldn't be more pleased. I would not be surprised if after the tip, it becomes obvious KU has the edge over UNC. Don't get me wrong, UNC could very easily win this game, but it's not the David vs Goliath or whatever this guy is talking about. It's not even close.
In fact, I'm confident KU will be the better team tonight. Extremely confident. Tyler Hansbrough is a great player. I think what you meant to say was that "this is a North Carolina team that hasn't lost a single away game all year."
Playing in the same state helps, but don't think that they aren't just as, if not more comfortable playing on the road. And keep in mind, the Illinois team that lost in 2005? Yeah, all six of their games were within a few hours drive. Playing close to home is a benefit, but don't read too much into it.
North Carolina's success isn't singularly due to Tyler Hansbrough. You may want to go watch some tape before posting. North Carolina is very balanced all over the floor, 1 through 5.
And I don't think the national media has written off Kansas. This is one writer for one media outfit. North Carolina is #1 in the RPI and has a higher SOS. They are undefeated on the road. Yeah, they're not tested.
Your suggestion that Kansas is clearly better than North Carolina and all but guaranteeing their victory makes you sound as if you've written off North Carolina.
