You all got a good team. You were beat tonight by a better team. Hansbrough didn't even show up. I hope Roy is crying. Whatever. Congrats on a great season. Give the Kansas Jayhawks some respect now? Congrats Jayhawks, as you played a better game than us tonight, but don't get to cocky because Memphis is playing excellent ball right now. I still don't think you guys have a better team, but thats is my opinion. Psycho T and Ellington were both no shows tonight and thats a big reason you won. With that being said, i'm not taking anything away, as you guys played a great game. However, I will not be rooting for the hawks, or the tigers. My college basketball season is over!!! It has been a great run heel fans and look forward to next season... Carolina family, see you soon!!!

Just want to correct a statement i made above. Hansbrough did show up, but he didn't have that POY performance that we needed from him. If Ellington could do anything besides jack up bricks, we could have won. We have got to get a consistent shooting guard!!! Danny Green, had a pretty good game, as usual, but also as usual, Ellington sucked.

Yeah! It was a great season. The HEELS are a better team then Kansas but I think they thought they were playing Memphis last night, not Kansas. One of my best friends is from Kansas and now I'll have to hear about this game until Memphis wins it all. I'm not pulling for Memphis but they will win. Carolina should have won and had they not sucked shit in the last 7 minutes would have won. If everyone returns next year (i think they will) we will go undefeated. Good luck Monday night JayHawks but don't kid yourself, you are not better then THE HEELS and you won't get Memphis.

WVU fan here and Tar Heels fan also....Kansas may have been the better team last night, but 9 out of 10 times I say the Heels win.
I will be rooting for MEMPHIS, just do not care for Kansas.

Well the game isn't decided 9 out of 10 times, is it? hate when people say that, thats why its a game, you didnt come to lay and the other team did, who care about what you did all season, they other team had to win too.

Ozark, regarding the Kansas fan who came here to talk trash--apparently that's his way of celebrating a big win. Now you need to be big enough to accept it graciously, rather than lowering yourself to his level. I'm a Pac-10 fan, neither a Kansas or a Carolina fan, although I have nothing against either school. You both had great seasons, you both got to the final four, and that's a hell of a lot better than my Washington Huskies did. You should both be proud of your teams--they're both champions. And let's face it, winning the national championship doesn't necessarily mean you're the best basketball team in the country--it means most likely that you were hot when you needed to be, and lucky when you needed to be. And last night just wasn't Carolina's night.

Unfortunate.
I had visited your threads and started to gain respect for Carolina fans thinking that they made us look bad in the past week, but I guess we're all blind when it comes to our team. How many fans would give anything to be arguing over a loss in the national semi-final and to always feel that anything less than a national championship is at least a mild disapppointment to their season. Both of these schools are very fortunate to be in that position.
You guys impressed the heck out of me coming back to within 4 like you did. As much as you seemed to feel KU backed into that win, please recognize that we felt our guys played as poorly during that comeback stretch as you feel yours did in the first part and the end of the game.
Whatever... I think that 6 out of 10 times Carolina wins that game (not 9...be serious). Not because you're the better team. I think that can be debated until the end of time. Rather because you play well more consistently in big games than our heros. I personally feel that BOTH KU and UNC is better than Memphis, but as with last night, it will all depend on who shows up for each team because both are very capable of winning it or losing it....just as UNC would be.
Thanks for the respect you gave our guys in your posts prior to last night.
