The Devils will PREVAIL!!!

Eagle, you ready for this or what bud? We taking down Avery and the Rangers!!!! Screw Gomer and his gang of losers. The Ranger fans are all happy for what they think was a awesome year, They say that this is "Their Year" and they should clean up in the east. I say....WHAT!......com'on, most Devil fans believe this was kind of down year for the Devils and we STILL beat them out in the standings. WOW, they beat us in the season series which means as much as winning the presidents trophy (ask Detroit)....NOTHING! They still couldn't pass us in the standings and thats embarrassing, kinda like Avery4 always posting here. I'm starting to sense that Ranger fans are more nervous about this match-up then the Devil fans and they should be. My broom still has a lot left in it from the last SWEEP we had with them. Now it's playoff hockey (something the Rangers haven't really seen over the last decade) and it's time to get rid of these posers. Let the excuses come now for the Rangers(like in 2006 when the soft Jagr got hurt)!!! This might be easier then we all expect. Devils in THREE, the Rangers won't even show up for game four!!!!

Yeah Eagle, I feel like you took a look at my other post about Rupp and White containing Mr. Jagr.  Hopefully I'm not just being optimistic with that and its not a fluke.  We just need to stay sound defensively and not breakdown like Mottau/Oduya(though rarely)/Andy Greene tend to do.  Paul Martin has been great on getting the puck out of the zone recently by himself and that definatley needs to continue, we cant fold under their forecheck.  I think Marty is going to prove everyone wrong about him being 'tired' and just stand on his head this series.  The only bad thing is, maybe Lundqvist will too.  He is honestly the only thing I am scared of, and even he looked shakey in that last game.

Hey Devils fans, I know myself and the 2 above me have been some of the harshest critics against this team the whole year, but now its time to change.  Were going to be huge, and were definatley going to beat the Rangers.  Lets get out there, fill some seats, and take this series home. Dooo itttt.

Nah Eagle I'm glad you said it too so that I wasn't the only one thinking that way.  I just think that for the same reasons they have great offensive potential, they also have great defensive potential.  They can really bruise up the opposition and use their reach to their advantage.

And on the other side, we need to keep Madden's unit on Gomez as well as Paul Martin and Johnny Oduya.  We need skaters to match him.
