Hey Dry , Not Sure on Kevin Jones, you know if from what I have seen from him, he can dazzle. But, and I do mean, but. He has never played a full season. That man has always been an accident waiting to happen. And really, wnere are we going to put him, unless BB is a little put off by Kevin Faulk's off the field episode after the Super Bowl last year, then I am not sure what is up. If the guy is coming cheap, lets say league minimum, then I say lets give a look see, but any kind of big bucks, then no. We have Maroney for the Flash, Morris for the Bash and Faulk for the Pass. (gee I just came up with that) But if this is just for insurance, and the insurance is cheap. Lets go

GO PATS

Oh absolutely. Obviously not a Lions fan, but I have seen some games of theirs and I remember being impressed with Jones. He has great field vision and an ability to hit the hole quickly. But (and as you said, this is a big "but"), I also understand that he is extremely injury-prone. And as much as I'd like some security in the backfield (especially with Morris and Maroney getting injured last year), I don't know if it's worth taking the financial risk.

And really, wnere are we going to put him, unless BB is a little put off by Kevin Faulk's off the field episode after the Super Bowl last year, then I am not sure what is up.

Yeah, that's true. Faulk's ganja incident really put a bad taste in my mouth... But, I don't think anything will really come from it. It happened a while ago, and to my knowledge, BB hasn't done anything about it. So I doubt we'll be seeing any sanction being handed down to Kevin.

If the guy is coming cheap, lets say league minimum, then I say lets give a look see, but any kind of big bucks, then no.

Yeah, that sounds smart. This dude has never even played a full 16-game season... We took a risk on Moss, but I mean come on, the dude's a legend. Everyone knows Randy Moss, and he'll for sure be a lock for the HOF down the road... But Jones isn't that type of player, so taking that risk could come back to bite us in the a$$... So signing him to the league minimum could work out ok... But this is all just speculation. Just a rumor. Jones' fate remains to be determined. If we do sign him, it won't be to a multi-million deal. We're a smart team...

We have Maroney for the Flash, Morris for the Bash and Faulk for the Pass. (gee I just came up with that) But if this is just for insurance, and the insurance is cheap. Lets go

Hahahaha very clever, knoxville... haha. Yeah, it should be interesting to see how this plays out...
