RAK - I'll be going to Florida again sometime in the next couple of months and stay with my parents. They live in Ocala about 90 north of Tampa so I'm hoping to catch a couple of Rays games. Cub fans are all over the country so it doesn't surprise me there were so many there.

I will also agree the Rays are for real. I asked earlier in the year and last year as well if they could beat teams beside the Yankees? Boy they have had their number. Even games they lose they have given them a battle...bluejay

Bluejay,  my wife's grandparents stay in Ocala, nice place.  My parents live in Treasure Island, just west of Tampa.  I love it out there, the beaches, tiki bars, oh the good the times, only one more week.

I got tickets to the Red Sox game around the first of July, maybe the Rays will give me some revenge. lol.  If they can get a veteran or two to help them win on the road they will be extremely dangerous.  I think they may be the team to actually knock the Yanks out of the post-season this year.  They have showed way more consistency than them and the Tigers, but it will be interesting to see how they handle the pressure come Aug and Sep.

Wow how about those Reds? Can they sweep the Yankees today? Any thoughts?

That would be nice to see.  Especially nice since I need a win from Cueto in one of my fantasy leagues!  How about them Rockies too.  Now just 7 games out and we just got Tulo back Fri night.  He had two hits last night, so hopefully his bat will come alive. Need to win the rubber match with the Mets today to make it 6 straight series won.

Hey RAK & WN - Yes the Reds couldn't pull the sweep of the Yankees off (4-1) and the Mets topped the Rockies 3-1 in the NL game. The Cubs were able to finish the deal against the White Sox 7-1 which had to really make Ozzie's day. The Cardinals woes continued as the lost to the Red Sox 5-3 in 13 but the Brewers won 7-3 over the Orioles so they didn't lose any ground to the Cubs.

In the rest of the games the Braves beat the Mariners 8-3. It was the Rangers 5 Nationals 3, Angels 3 Phillies 2, Bluejays 8 Pirates 5, Astros 3 Rays 2, Royals 11 Giants 10, Tigers 5 Padres 3, Dodgers 4 Indians 3, A's 7 Marlins 1 and Twins 5 Diamondbacks 3.

Hope everyone has a great day...bluejay
