I've about had it.  In no other sport can one team dominate an entire game and yet lose.  At least not with the regularity it happens in hockey.  There are so many instances of "bad breaks" and "lucky bounces"  not to mention complete inconsistency in penalty calls that it's not even fun to watch.  I mean literally, to win the Stanley Cup, you don't have to be the best team, you have to be the luckiest.  Yes, you create your own luck by working hard, but to make it through 4 rounds of the playoffs without luck is 100% impossible.

The Wild have been the better team for 3 plus games of this series and are now down.  Colorado has been nothing but a bunch of whining babies who can't even sell out a playoff game and yet, through the miracle of a "hot" goalie and some (let's be judicious here) less than even-handed officiating, stand to win this series at home on Saturday.  It's hard to watch.

Shrink the pads, widen the nets, and expand the ice so that skill can be more than 65% of the game and then maybe I'll come back.....

(Or just win games 6 & 7 and I'll be happy as a clam again)  Damn I hate losing.......

my definition of luck is when u randomly throw the puck at the net and it bounces off the oppositions skate and goes in the net. sound familiar koivu and carney? and how is a goalie doing his job luck? my goalie does his job and makes saves. maybe u should blame backstrom's .824 save % in game 5. about the penalty calls, i'm sure u had no problem with the way they were called in game 1 right? you're right to an extent that the Wild have been the better team, if your talking about puck possesion. anyways, luck is involved in everything so find a better excuse to lose this series.

its not luck when you TRY to tip it and it goes in. neither is picking up rebounds and backhanding them in. its lucky to ATTEMP a PASS and it winds up in the net.
