I know most of us were here last year, just to keep things simple,  IMO we should do what we did then and just have one thread open.  Of course there will be yayhoo steeler fans coming and posting their own threads, but it will be easier for flow to just have one open.  Even though we dont have any picks on day one, i will still probably be glued to the tube to see the Raiders, Jets, Bengals and Lions make awfull decissions.  On a side note, I have to work on my timing, ill be on baby watch, and that will be 2 of my 4 that will/could be born on draft day.  Some Luck.

dogside good luck with the family ,there is nothing more precious .i really think phil might make a move up to sat maybe 3rd round.i have a feeling that Andre Davis will get moved ,i like davis he plays hard and is a solid citizen but he has lost a step or two that he did not have to begin with.we still need a corner and another linebacker .you know pittspuke fans will lose there way and come over here posting gibberish .

go Browns

Round 3 is on Sunday...only 1 and 2 are on Saturday.

Phil Savage was quoted as saying 2 days ago that they are not making any moves to move up in the draft and that they are going to sit and wait for their turn.

He also stated that DA won't be traded and he doesn't expect any calls from other teams to get him because they all know he is off the trading table.

Unless that was all smoke in mirrors, then we are in for a long draft weekend.  I'll be surprised if 1 draft pick from rounds 4-7 makes the team after the final cuts.

As excited as i was last year for the draft,  i am equally unexcited for this years draft. I'll be getting text message alerts, but this year im helping out at my towns special olympics on draft day, something that never even entered my mind last year.

i will also be watching to see if the Lions make a "bad" decision such as the year they raped the Browns of a 2nd round pick just so the Brownies could draft motor cycle expert Kellen Winslow.

Or when the Lions traded a 400lbs. over weight and lazy DT who plays for 4 games a year to the Browns for a no. 1 CB in his prime and a 3rd round pick.

Or when Cleveland traded a 1st round pick to draft a back up QB.

It really is too bad you guys traded all your picks this year doing your best impression of Big Dan and the Skins, cause no doubt there are more than a few teams other than the Lions who would have liked to out smart your GM for them.

If nothing else you can study up on your future rookie division champs whenever Pittsburgh picks.

That wasn't the lions that was the Redskins, they drafted Sean Taylor with the next pick.  The lions NEVER miss an opportunity to draft a receiver high.

...for a no. 1 CB in his prime and a 3rd round pick.

only if you define prime as that time after you are no longer good.

no doubt there are more than a few teams other than the Lions who would have liked to out smart your GM for them.

By drafting another receiver before the Browns could?

If nothing else you can study up on your future rookie division champs whenever Pittsburgh picks.

what does that mean?

Swarm Millen sucks face it. No matter how much you want to be a Browns fan, you're stuck being a Lions fan. I almost feel sorry for you. Oh well, Im sure there is another receiver you guys can take this year in the first.
