I was reading about a new stadium being built in LA for an NFL team and the writer listed the Saints as a possible candidate, I don't kow about y'all but if this move happens I'm switching my teams.....

I hope this doesn't happen but if it does then I have no idea what I will do. Will probably be my team but will do my best to never give Benson another penny of mine. I think Seattle Seahawks should go heck their basketball team will probably leave they might as well also.

I think the Saints will get a bye on this one because of Katrina. The team is being supported better then ever and the NFL knows that the New Orleans Saints is the best thing to help bring the city back (along with the Hornets). Plus look how much people have complained about the Saints losing a home game...imagine if they lost the team.

The writer just listed teams with "stadium disputes".  It would be pretty hard to for the NFL to justify moving the team out of New Orleans without doing something like they did for the Browns.

How many teams need to fail in the lesser LA before we have to stop hearing about this garbage?

Why is it at one point in time LA had two teams and did not support either? As I recall they both left. So why in the hell do we have to hear every year that they deserve a team and that it is going to be the Saints? I for one am sick of it and dont believe they need one. And as long as we as fans of the team continue to make the Bensons money and they continue to sell out games and merchandise we should not have to worry.

I have been living in the L.A .area for 24 years, I have been a Loyal Die Hard Saints fan for over 35 years. I grew up in Southern Miss and the Saints  belong in N.O. no  where else, period. New Orleans without the Saints, would be death to N.O. There is not a single city  or area that backs a team the way New Orleans does. Los Angeles will get a team, but they are looking for a franchise to be awarded, not an existing team. The area they are building (supposedly) the staduim is 20 miles outside L.A., right on the Los Angeles County and Orange County border, and 5 miles from Riverside County. No one from L.A. will even care about a team located there. The group that is heading this effort is looking to put this staduim up for many other venues, such as moto cross, monster trucks, etc. These events fill Anaheim Stadium (middle of Orange County) all the time and this new Stadium is closer to a very large population of about 2.5 million (Inland Empire)  So, Local Saints Fans I would not worry about dem Saints moving, besides the Houston Texans Owners are the most likely to move first, they are losing money left and right.

The only Saints Los Angeles will get is Motley Crue.

The LA Saints doesn't even sound right.

I love flying to New Orleans to watch games, tour, drink etc... due to the fact that it's like no other place I've ever been (I've been every where, Man) and the food is as unique as the streets and building in the French Quarter.

If the Saints leave New Orleans, few people would ever hear about the City ever again, unless of course another storm hits.  If the town dies, the Benson family will be to blame and I doubt he'll want that burden on his shoulders.

New Orleans Saints forever!!

I dont think this will happen for a couple of reasons...

1 - New Orleans is one of the favorite cities to come and visit for opposing franchises. Most of our division rivals only do one away game and its always the New Orleans game. Which leads me to the second reason..

2 - the division set up would have to change. Tampa Bay, Atlanta, and Carolina are all in a small area of the U.S. (could you imagine adding L.A. across the U.S. in that division?)

3 - Hitting back on the city attrancting people, the Super Bowl has been here more times than any other city which tell you something about the NFL's ultimate feeling on it even though the Saints have never made it to the big game. The Super Bowl should be back in 2012 or 2013.

4 - The Saints WILL be very successful for the next 3 years which will solidify the Saints staying in New Orleans.

5 - Benson is finally getting the type of demand he needs to raise Season ticket prices which will eventually fund the new stadium. I think the Hornet's success actually helps the Saints get a new stadium.
